New beginnings should always start with introductions. I have been traveling for as long as I can remember. With those travels came new sights, new cultures and new foods. Lobster Rolls in Maine, Fajitas in Texas, Clam Chowder in Massachusetts. The end result? When other kids would only eat PB&J I was munching Buffalo Burgers and Alligator Bites.
I'm not a chef but I'm a dammed good home cook with a sense of adventure and I'm not afraid to try new things. Can I whip up a Soufflé or a Baked Alaska? Not a chance, but to be fair, I have never tried. I think the biggest things I've learned is that fear is your enemy, recipes are guides and tasting EVERYTHING is important. After that...just have fun. So enough of my blathering it's almost time for lunch!
